Lemont– State Senator John Curran and Representative Nicole La Ha are inviting local seniors to their free Senior Fair on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at the SS Cyril & Methodius School, 607 Sobieski Street in Lemont. The event will run from 9 a.m. to noon, offering a variety of resources and services specifically designed for seniors.
“It is essential we make sure our senior community has access to the information and services they need,” said Sen. Curran. “This fair is a great way for seniors to gather together, connect with more local services, and enjoy a morning focused on their health and wellness.”
The Senior Fair will feature over 40 local organizations and service providers ready to offer valuable information on health care, financial planning, legal assistance, and more. Seniors will have access to free health screenings, wellness tips, and opportunities to connect with resources to enhance their lives. Assistance with utility savings, preventing internet scams, and home safety tips will be available. Additionally, we are collecting flags, eyeglasses, hearing aids, phones, and prescription drugs that are no longer needed.
“I’m grateful for the opportunity to co-host this Senior Fair with Senate Minority Leader Curran,” said Rep. La Ha. “Our seniors have given so much to our community, and this event is a wonderful way to give back and ensure they have the resources and support they need to thrive.”
Sen. Curran and Rep. La Ha are encouraging all seniors in the area to attend this event. For more information, please visit RepLaHa.com or SenatorCurran.com.
