This week, State Representative Nicole La Ha is attending the New Members Conference in Springfield. She released the following statement:
“Last night was the beginning of the New Members Conference, an event that will continue through Wednesday, where I have the honor of joining 21 other newly elected members of both the House and Senate. It’s an incredible opportunity to learn, collaborate, and strengthen our commitment to serving the people of Illinois.
The opening reception was held at the Lincoln Museum, and I was especially moved to see the original Gettysburg Address on display. As we gather to take on the challenges ahead, it’s a powerful reminder of the enduring values of liberty, unity, and self-government that have shaped our nation.
