Looking for a safe and convenient way to recycle unwanted items around your home?
Join State Senator John Curran and State Representative Nicole La Ha for a Community Recycle Event tomorrow, Saturday, July 25, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Hinsdale South High School parking lot in Darien.
We’ll be collecting:
Electronics
Residential document shredding (2 bags per car)
Bicycles and bicycle parts
Gently used household items
Expired prescription medications (no liquids or EpiPens)
Please note that some items, including TVs, batteries, furniture, paint, and dehumidifiers, cannot be accepted.
This is a great opportunity to safely dispose of items you no longer need while helping keep our communities clean. We hope to see you there!
