State Representative Nicole La Ha released the following statement at the start of the last week of the Spring Legislative Session:
“The final week of session is here, and we’re going to be working through long days, late nights, and hundreds of pieces of legislation before the May 31 deadline.
As your State Representative, I’ll continue fighting for lower costs for families, stronger support for local communities, greater transparency in government, and practical policies that actually help the people of Illinois.
This week is crucial. The decisions made in these final days will impact families across the state. I’ll keep you updated throughout the week as we move through this final stretch of session.
