In addition to collecting Valentines Day Cards for Veterans this season, Rep. Nicole La Ha is providing FREE Valentines for Veterans coloring pages at local libraries to assist in expanding the reach of the popular program aimed at showing heartfelt appreciation for the men and women who have served our country.
“These coloring pages are another fun way to increase participation in this program and I so appreciate our 82nd District public libraries for hosting the pages, which you can also find linked below for easy printing and return,” said La Ha. “I know we can make this Valentine’s Day even more special for our heroes among us.”
Anyone can participate by creating a card and dropping it off before February 13 at Rep. La Ha’s district office, located at 12271 Walker Road in Lemont. The office is open Monday through Thursday, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m and Fridays from 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. All cards must be received by February 13 so Rep. La Ha can personally deliver them to local veterans on Valentine’s Day.
