Starting this Wednesday, October 1, Illinois taxpayers will have a six-week window to pay past-due State taxes without penalties or interest.
This amnesty period runs through Monday, November 17 and gives individuals and businesses a chance to settle outstanding tax bills before additional penalties kick in.
