Rep. La Ha recently received the DuPage County Farm Bureau’s Friend of Agriculture Award. After receiving the award last week, she released the following statement:
“This week I was honored to receive the DuPage County Farm Bureau Friend of Agriculture Award.
Supporting our farmers and protecting Illinois agriculture is a responsibility I take seriously. It’s s the backbone of our communities and our economy.
A fun fact my son learned during the evening: 144 baseballs can be made from just one cowhide! 
He hasn’t stopped talking about it!
I’m grateful to the Farm Bureau for this recognition and for all the hardworking men and women who keep agriculture thriving in our state.”
