State Representative Nicole La Ha recently appeared on Fox32 last week to talk about the potential legalization of prostitution in Illinois. Following the appearance, she released the following statement:
“I appeared on Fox32 to talk about the potential legalization of prostitution in Illinois. While some believe this change could bring protections, I strongly oppose it. Most individuals do not enter prostitution of their own free will, and many victims are children, starting at the age of 12 to 13. We must prioritize protecting our vulnerable populations and not normalize an industry that can cause irreparable harm.”
