State Representative Nicole La Ha released the following statement in response to being appointed to the Prescription Drug Affordability Board Sub-Committee:
“I was recently appointed to the Prescription Drug Affordability Board Sub-Committee, and I couldn’t be more honored to serve in this role. Families across Illinois are feeling the burden of rising prescription drug costs, and it’s critical that we find real solutions to ensure life-saving medications remain accessible and affordable.
I look forward to working with my colleagues to tackle this issue head-on and advocate for policies that put patients first. If you have concerns or experiences you’d like to share, my door is always open.”
