Representative La Ha was honored to serve as the keynote speaker at a virtual seminar on human trafficking for the Chicago Bar Association: Human Rights/Anti-Human Trafficking Committee. Human Trafficking is an issue that Rep. La Ha is deeply committed to addressing. With four legislative proposals awaiting committee review, she is pushing for stronger protections for victims and harsher penalties for perpetrators. To those affected: Rep.
