The Holiday Season is in full swing, and there’s nothing more magical than seeing the joy on children’s faces as they meet Santa!
There are many opportunities across District 82 to meet Santa this Christmas season. Check out the full list below!
In or Near Lemont
- Santa at Next Mex, 319 Front St., Lemont. 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. on Dec. 14. Save your seat and email jessica@next-mex.com.
- Santa at Hometown Holiday in downtown Lemont. 2 to 5 p.m. on Dec. 7. Visits with Santa will be at The Bridge, with the tree lighting at 5 p.m. off of Front Street.
- Santa’s Merry and Bright PJ Night, hosted by Lemont Park District. 6 to 8 p.m. on Dec. 13. Register with the park district.
- Breakfast with Santa at Bolingbrook Golf Club. 8:30 a.m. to noon on Dec. 8, reservations are required (call 630-679-5013). Adults are $44, kids 4-10 are $24, and 3 and under are free.
Santa is also going to be at several shopping malls in the area, including:
- Santa’s Wonderland at Bass Pro Shops in The Promenade Bolingbrook. The festivities will run through Dec. 24 at the store, 709 Janes Ave. Reservations for free photos with Santa are now available, and dates will continue to open on a rolling basis seven days in advance. Visitors without reservations are welcome and will be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis, according to the business.
- Pictures with Santa at K9s for Veterans at The Promenade Bolingbrook. The cost is a $10 donation. Photo times are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Dec. 7, Dec. 8, Dec. 15 and Dec. 21.
- Orland Square Mall, 288 Orland Square Dr.: Now through Dec. 24. Located in the lower level H&M wing. Reservations encouraged, but not required. Walk-ups welcome, too. Check available dates and times, book a slot online.
In or Near Darien

- Santa at Homer for the Holidays on Dec. 7. Photos with Santa will be from 5 to 7 p.m. at Heritage Park, 14240 W. 151st St., in Homer Glen. You can also drop off letters to Santa at the box in the park.
- Santa at the Creamery, 15112 S. Bell Road in Homer Glen. 4 to 7 p.m. at Dec. 7; visit with Santa and enjoy Creamery treats.
- Santa at Hometown Holiday in downtown Lemont. 2 to 5 p.m. on Dec. 7. Visits with Santa will be at The Bridge, with the tree lighting at 5 p.m. off of Front Street.
- Romeoville Holiday Lights Festival: Photos with Santa will be offered during the event on Dec. 6 and 7 at Village Hall. Bring your own camera, and pre-registration time slots are available for Romeoville residents only. There will be limited spaces available each day in the stand-by line.

Willowbrook
- Santa Sleigh Visits. Visits will take place the week of December 16 – 20, 2024. Registration for this program will close on Sunday, December 8th. Staff will then create a map of all registered residents and call to set up the exact date and time of your visit.
If you want Santa to bring a present to your visit you can drop gifts off at Village Hall December 9 -13 from 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM.
