Today, State Representative Nicole La Ha attended a groundbreaking ceremony for a new, fully inclusive park in Cicero. Following the event, she released the following statement:
“Today I visited the Village of Cicero to celebrate the groundbreaking of a brand new, fully inclusive park! I cannot wait to return for the ribbon-cutting!
As a parent of a child that lives with disability and uses a wheelchair full time, I love seeing more and more spaces like this, where all kids of all abilities can play together! It so good to see State Rep. Lisa Hernandez and other elected officials beam with joy for such a great accomplishment! Congratulations to all who helped make this happen!!
