Yesterday, State Representative Nicole La Ha co-hosted a Fishing Debry alongside Senator John Curran. Following the event, Rep. Nicole La Ha released the following statement:
“We had an AMAZING day out at Tampier Lake for our Fishing Derby! For me personally, it was so nice to see the kids outside enjoying our beautiful lake, learning about nature and catching (and releasing) fish! A BIG thank you to Leader Curran and his amazing staff as well as my staff for putting this together for our community to enjoy! Thank you to Illinois Department of Natural Resources, Illinois Urban Fishing Program, Forest Preserves of Cook County, Illinois Division of Fishers, and Chicago Herpetological Society for providing literature and goodies for our goodie bags! Can’t wait to do it again!”
