This past Saturday, State Representative Nicole La Ha attended the Lemont Emergency Management Agency’s Open House event.
Following the event, Rep. La Ha released the following statement:
“I had an amazing time meeting the Lemont Emergency Management team! I learned so much about their efforts to keep us safe!
The job of Lemont Emergency Management Agency (LEMA) is to coordinate the efforts of the Village and Township to prepare for, mitigate, respond to, and recover from disasters, both natural and man-made. The Lemont EMA also provides unique and supplemental emergency services to protect the general welfare and safety of the public.
I want to personally thank them for all they do! I can’t wait to work with them even more in the future!”
