Rep. Nicole La Ha attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the DuPage County Crisis Recovery Center today.
“I was happy to be present for the DuPage County Crisis Recovery Center groundbreaking ceremony!” Rep. La Ha said. “Congratulations Deb Conroy, DuPage County Board and the DuPage County Board of Health on this incredibly important recovery center.”
The crisis recovery center will serve as a single point of entry for individuals experiencing a mental health or substance use crisis. It will be an easily accessible location for law-enforcement, emergency personnel, and families to have a timely drop off for evaluation. Needs will be evaluated and individuals will be treated or transitioned to an appropriate level of care within 24 hours.
