State Representative Nicole La Ha Honors Two Guests at 3rd Annual Emerging Women Leaders Conference

Springfield, IL…State Representative Nicole La Ha proudly welcomed two guests to the third annual Emerging Women Leaders (EWL) conference: Patti Herbst and Kim Zoeller. The event took place today in Springfield.

“I am honored to have had Patti Herbst and Kim Zoeller join us at the Emerging Women Leaders Event,” Rep. La Ha said. “Supporting strong professional women like Patti and Kim has been a personal goal of mine, which I am excited to expand as State Representative.”

Patti Herbst is the Executive Director of the Center for Independence Through Conductive Education, Inc. With a commitment to maximizing independence for individuals with physical disabilities, the center has provided invaluable services to countless families, regardless of their financial circumstances. Herbst is dedicated to empowering others through her work.

Kim Zoeller is the President and CEO of the Ray Graham Association. Since its founding in 1950, the Ray Graham Association has been dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities to reach their full potential. Under Zoeller’s leadership, the association has flourished, providing essential support services to thousands of individuals and their families.

Both Herbst and Zoeller exemplify the spirit of leadership and service that the EWL conference aims to celebrate. Their contributions to their respective organizations and communities serve as a source of inspiration for women leaders across the state.

“These women’s stories are not only inspiring but also serve as a reminder of the incredible impact that women can have when given the opportunity to lead,” Rep. La Ha said. “I am grateful for their contributions to our community and look forward to seeing the continued impact of their work.”

The EWL conference, established to acknowledge the achievements of rising women leaders, was a resounding success. Representatives from various districts joined together to celebrate the remarkable accomplishments of women from across the state. Throughout the day, attendees engaged in programming designed to empower and inspire.

The schedule featured a brunch and listening session, a tour of the Capitol, and a presentation titled “Own Your Power.” These sessions provided invaluable opportunities for networking, collaboration, and personal growth.
